Intex Player gaming focused phone launched for Rs 2,790, features a 2.8-inch display and two gaming buttons
Intex Technologies has launched its first ever gaming focused phone called the Intex Player. The device comes preloaded with 1000+ games and is available for Rs 2,790 at retail stores across the country.
For now the company has only provided minimum specifications with the Dual-SIM Intex Player featuring a 2.8-inch TFT display which is a little strange considering the phone’s USP is its gaming capability. The phone also sports two buttons just above the display which gives quick access to the phone’s gaming content. Apart from the above, the phone also features a 1,200mAH battery which the company claims offers up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time and a 1.3-megapixel rear camera. On the software side of things, the Intex Player includes the usual video player, audio player, FM Radio and also includes Blacklist and Whitelist features to block a contact or save one as a favorite.
At Rs 2,790 the Intex Player is bundled with a free 4GB microSD card, options to choose from a Hindi or an English UI and is available in Black, White and Silver color variants.
