New images give closer look at HTC M7 and Sense 5
New images of HTC's next flagship phone—the M7—have popped up, along with screenshots of Sense 5, courtesy of Android Police. As suspected earlier, the M7 will indeed run Sense 5 on what is presumably Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Looking at the picture and screenshots, it is worth noting that the upcoming version of Sense will be opting for a cleaner interface and will be ditching the Ring-based lockscreen that can be found in Sense 3.5 and above. It is also worth noting that the positions of the Home and Multitasking buttons have been swapped. Design wise, the phone is very similar to the HTC Butterfly.
The back of the device seems to have a completely matte finish. This gives it a bit of a rubbery look and may result in a better grip when holding the smartphone.

On the interface side of things, the new Sense UI features a new clock widget. The new widget seems to opt for a more subtle and vector-based look as opposed to the bright weather widget of the past. It also seems to feature new rectangular widgets for things like social networking, news feeds and tutorials.
Despite all of the information though, it may end up being a very elaborate hoax. As is usual with rumours and leaks like this, take them with a grain of salt.

It is also rumoured that the phone will be launched only a few weeks after its debut during MWC 2013. The speculated pricing for the device is around $600, which roughly translates to Rs 32,700.
The smartphone is all set to be the first device to sport a 1080p display resolution on a 4.7-inch screen, which will give it a pixel density of 468 ppi (making it 40 percent higher than that of the iPhone 5). Other major details include a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, an LTE chip, a 13 megapixel camera with 1080p recording and an f/2.0 aperture. It will also have a 2 megapixel front facing camera with 1080p video recording. On the audio side of things, the device is set to have a dedicated amplifier designed by Beats along with stereo speakers. It is also set to support the next-gen Wi-Fi standard of 802.11ac, which theoretically has three times the throughput of 802.11n networks.
